Professional Appraisal Services was established in 1981 and became a professional association (P.A.) in 1989. Our company provides real estate appraisal and consulting services in Sarasota, Manatee and parts of Charlotte county. We specialize in residential properties, including vacant sites.

Our clients include but are not limited to banks and mortgage companies that make loans in the area; relocation companies needing value estimates for homeowners being transferred out of or into the area; lawyers, accountants, and individuals needing appraisals for estate and trust purposes; real estate agents, buyers and sellers interested in having a supported figure to help establish a realistic asking price or negotiate a sale or purchase.

We are members of the Sarasota Board of Realtors and Multiple Listing Service, and have access to MLS data through reciprocity from other boards in the area, including Bradenton and Venice. The data from these sources is vital to residential appraising. In addition, we subscribe to two sources of public record data. What provides us with a deeper knowledge of our area’s real estate market are the office files dating back over twenty years, including records from work done prior to the firms establishment.
